Southern Star Exploration Pty Ltd (Southern Star Exploration) is one of S2 Resources's Australian exploration subsidiaries.

Southern Star Exploration own the following exploration projects:

- 100% of the right to apply for EL007795 (NCVG Block 4) otherwise known as the Greater Fosterville Project

- 100% of the nickel rights of the Polar Bear Project and various geographically proximal tenements, including those that comprise the Norcott Project

- 100% of three exploration tenements in the highly prospective Fraser Range region.
